Keepthinking has won an international competition to provide a new Collections Management System software to the over two hundred museums and collections in the province of Antwerp, Belgium. The new Content Management System will be based on the Keepthinking's SPECTRUM compliant Qi CMS: Qi is an entirely web-based Collections and Information Management System, which is unique in its field: it allows museums, galleries, archives, libraries and any information-rich, public or private cultural organisation to collect, organise and manage all of their information and digital assets into one integrated system.
Qi has been adopted by numerous organisation worldwide that value its holistic approach and the fact that they no longer need many unrelated and non-integrated software applications to manage information that should is interrelated in the first place (e.g. artefacts, events, donations, patrons, web pages and more).
Keepthinking has been working with the Zilvermuseum in Antwerp for several months, following a successful tender in 2013, implementing Qi as their new Collections Management System. The new contract, won against consolidated players such as Gallery Systems and Adlib, makes Qi the de-fact standard in the region.
