Hampstead Heritage
Burgh House is an historic 18th century house located in one of London’s traditional heritage boroughs. Being a long time client of Keepthinking, we provided a redesign for their website and online collections, using updated technology to refine their online presence and engage with their audiences.
With key sections readily accessible, the site features a clean, intuitive navigation bar. This layout ensures visitors can quickly discover practical details (e.g., when the house and café are open) and upcoming exhibitions or events.

Responsive and accessible
The site is fully responsive and mobile-optimised, and provides users with tools for discovering the history of Hampstead and London’s art scene, along with information about hiring the venue and current events.
What's on
The dynamic What’s On page allows visitors to browse upcoming events using a calendar feature to target specific dates or get an overview of the next week or month.

Collections
Users can browse the collection through highlights with search and filtering capabilities, each object detail page features a colour-matched background to with the artwork to subtly frame it.
Exhibitions and events
Individual exhibition and event pages offer an image-focused experience, along with easily accessible information for visitors.

The redesigned website for Burgh House offers a visually comforting blend of heritage elegance and modern simplicity. With a refined color palette, intuitive navigation, layered storytelling sections, and welcoming imagery, it speaks both to history buffs, art enthusiasts and community visitors.
